Bready’s Shmoke Shawp

The album starts with sheep leather - a dreamy trip through convoluted metaphors and Harry Potter references that evokes a feeling of being in a fever dream. Next, our main character wakes up in his mid twenties unhappy with his body and life, in the funk influenced song silky. This leads to the next track, down - a downward spiral into the depths of the ocean ,where the pressure of depression suffocates all. This is evident in the murky, muddy production. The track fades to silence, and shmokeshawpshawty slowly builds up into a reggae tinged alternative hip hop track full of love, lust, and weed. After this uplifting track, our main character and his lover take a hazy break with spliff dreams (shmoke break) which takes them back into a dream world. Near the end of the track, the beat switches and 808s rip through the soundscape as Breadcouch's vocals grow in intensity setting the stage for the next track, Talk To Me - another funky, upbeat song about love and lust. This leads into baked bread - a relaxed and cocky look at love, as the relationship between our main character and his lover grows stronger. This track bleeds into loud truck - a feel good, Timbaland inspired track about our young man picking up his lover from work and smoking on the way home. Upon arriving at home, some of the pressure of life cracks through as the young man - now grown - vents to his lover about the stresses of life in "no one said that this would make sense", a track with electronica inspired production and aggressive vocals. This theme continues into the conclusion of our journey in "beating my meat in the next room over" - a neo soul track titled jokingly by a fan while Breadcouch created the track live on Discord.
